Emergent Typography is an experiment that involves imprinting a conventional 26 character Latin alphabet onto a rule-driven matrix characteristic of cellular automata. The system is then allowed to run for a handful of timesteps beyond this initial state, which has the effect of reconfiguring the original alphabet into novel forms.
Each rule is derived from the standard Wolfram codes, and is displayed at the bottom of each page as a Boolean expression.
